    WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER AN EXPLOSION AT AN INDIANA HOME. IT SHOOK MY HOUSE SO HARD I WAS EXPECTING A TRUCK IN MY LIVING ROOM, YOU KNOW? I MEAN, IT WAS CRAZY. THAT’S WHAT I REALLY THOUGHT WAS GOING ON. WELL, ONE NEIGHBOR CALLED 911, WHILE ANOTHER TOOK VIDEO OF THE FLAMES IN RICHMOND, INDIANA, YESTERDAY MORNING. THEY SAY THE COUPLE LIVING THERE WERE SERIOUSLY HURT. OTHER NEIGHBORS JUMPED IN TO HELP THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR RAN OVER TO THE HOUSE ON THE CORNER, GRABBED THE NEIGHBOR LADY AND HER TWO LITTLE KIDS OUT AND TRIED TO SAVE THEIR CATS. WELL, FIREFIGHTERS SAY THAT FAMILY HAD SMOKE INHALATION. THE FIRE CHIEF CONFIRMED TWO PEOPLE WERE LATER FLOWN TO A BURN UNIT IN INDIANAPOLIS, BUT HE DIDN’T SAY IF THO

    Five people were injured after a house explosion and fire in Indiana.It all unfolded around 8:57 a.m. Thursday, when Richmond Police and Fire Departments responded to the 100 block of Randolph Street for a report of an explosion and fire.First responders on scene found two people in front of the home suffering from burn injuries.Two people were taken to a nearby hospital before being airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis for specialized burn injuries. They both remain in serious, life-threatening condition, police said.Two children were also treated on scene for potential smoke inhalation. A Good Samaritan who helped before first responders arrived was also treated at the scene."This was a dangerous and fast-moving situation, and I'm incredibly proud of the swift, courageous actions of our officers, firefighters, and medics," Assistant Chief of Police Adam Blanton said. "Thanks to their efforts, lives were saved today. We're continuing to support the investigation and will work to ensure the families affected receive the help they need." The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the explosion and fire.
