ACEN Corp. is planning to launch power projects comprising some 1.6 gigawatts (GW) this year, projects located mostly in the Asia-Pacific this year, its top executive said on Wednesday.

"For these projects, our overall portfolio is not just here in the Philippines," he told reporters following a stockholders' meeting.
